Automatic Truck Dispatch System is a real time mine management system which continuously monitors the location and status of mining equipment and allocates the right truck at the right time to the right place. This system uses "State of the Art" Technology for automated data acquisition and communication. The location and movement of mining equipment is tracked with precision Global Positioning Satellite Technology. Field computer systems are installed on mining equipments with touch screen, user friendly, Graphical interface console, for easy interaction with operators. Mines have used this system to achieve different objectives. Some users have maximized production, whereas others have reduced the fleet needed to maintain the production quota. Many mines are also using this system for grade control with blending in order to achieve consistency in the feed to the process plant.

Companies operating either as Lessee or Licensee have been given a unique code. Through these codes, all lessees and licensees upload their old records, which are validated by respective Circle offices for preparation of one time base level Master data. This Data base served for various compliances required in the day to day functioning.

It is an online application to issue Transit Permit, by providing required information of Lessee/ Licensee. This data is verified through Digital Signature of the Representative of the company. Via SMS these requests are informed to the concerned government officials. Once the permit is issued, the application generates a unique permit no. for each request. This permit number is required to issue the transit pass online. This process ensures that the Transit Pass and Permit are tagged to each other for all purposes. After Issue of the Transit Pass book, the system will send external mail & SMS to the concerned Lessees/ Licensees.

As pre-requisites for e-Pass to carriers, the application was integrated with the Truck Registration Number (RTO database). Secondly, each carrier were issued an RFID card. Lessee’s have electronic Weighbridge from where data on software will be captured without any human intervention. The other information are Issued Date/Time, Tare weight of the carrier and Mineral weight. The off line software at Mines will validate the Carrier number with the RTO Database. The computer at Lessee is connected with an RFID writer, which enters the data in the off line software to the card. RFID stores encrypted data which cannot be faked or tempered. Government Staff at the Mines location are given a Mobile Phone to transfer data from RFID card to central server by SMS, using Nokia mobile having Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. The Software at the central server has prior information on the permit & pass issued, hence the additional information of mineral dispatched against a Pass with time & route is updated to build real time MIS. Railway Siding entry Point will have same process as mentioned in Road check gates.
