Executive Information System
As a solution to the aforesaid problems the KPI information management was carried out with balance scorecard perspective which is used in many fortune 500 companies as the framework of EIS. Executive Information System (EIS) is the module that computes KPIs of the executives to generate score card of departments and sections. This module will facilitate Planning Department to track, formulate and compute the KPIs of all the departments. For the KPI computation Planning department used to consolidate the KPI data received from all the departments and calculate the KPIs as per the task they perform. Being a web based system it can be accessed from any location and field based departments. EIS facilitates generation of various MIS reports for supporting decision making mechanism of the management.
General Services Monitoring System
General Services department in any E&P industry provides services like mobile services, international travel, transport, visa, passport renewal, contract with vendors regarding buildings, meeting hall and hotels arrangement, stationary for all locations and other services. Managing these administrative activities manually or in client server architecture makes it redundant and susceptible to outdated data. Security Pass System
In any E&P industry security of contractual people or visitors coming in is of paramount importance, as they pose a serious threat in case of breach. Therefore, companies have their own version of scrutinizing whom they allow and on what basis. Most of these companies operate on variety of passes issued to different group of users, within the purview of an all encompassing workflow. SPS designs a system specifically suited to accept and identify requests through a series of interconnected workflows within concerned departments and issue passes with proper security measures. When any pass is issued (Staff, Contractor, Visitor) by the security department, system records the card no and validity period. There will be card readers at each gate to read the card no and check the validity of the card. If the card validity is over then staff/contractor/visitor will not be allowed to enter. System will generate different MIS reports as per the requirement.
Construction Cost Control System (CCCP)
Operation Department (Upstream) is mainly divided into two sections: Construction section and drilling section. The main objective of the department is to do the construction activities and drilling the wells for exploration and development department. Construction section does the activities of road construction, pad construction and maintenance of the road and pads. And drilling section does the drilling and servicing of wells for exploration and development department. The objective of CCCP is to monitor the construction progress of each contractor appointed for the project, along with keeping a timely track of the equipments they are assigned with. The system starts with the initiation of a request for construction and progressively advances to complete a 360 degree monitoring of the project.
Pipeline Support Services (PLSS) System
Pipeline division in E&P companies is responsible for monitoring the pump stations, the pipeline and the marine terminals. Since there is a group of people operating from these offices, their management is intermittently vital, as otherwise it disrupts regular flow of operations; for instance an employee unable to reach a pump station in time which has a breach, results in valuable time, money and environment going waste. PLSS tracks down all the pump stations in the purview of the management and creates a dynamic workflow to accommodate all. The system connects all the terminals with the head office whereby an unbreakable link is formed. This assists in faster disposal of requests and prompts quick actions at each of the terminals.
Online RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Tool
The main objective of the Production department is to track all maintenance operation in pumps, tanks, cranes, etc., also is also responsible for reporting all HSE incident & tracking maintenance & repairs operations in OGM (Oil Gathering Manifolds), FPF (Field Production Facility) & CPF (central production Facility). RCA tool is a n integrated and comprehensive approach to address all issues ranging from grievances to repair and maintenance or simply a request for new equipment. The concerned personnel will have to conduct Root Cause Analysis, trouble shooting and come up with recommended Action Plan within one month. This is made possible through RCA tool, wherein apart from having an option to initiate a request, concerned officials can take action on it. In case of inaction within a stipulated time period, a unique escalation process, takes the matter further up for just jurisdiction.
